Beskrivning: It would have been a lot easier if I just had passed. But then again, my life had never been easy, and it would never be. Angst would always be my closest friend, well, if I wasn't counting Black. Sirius Black.
Well, it was kind of my own fault though. If I hadn't accepted him, I would have saved us both from sufferng. Too bad it was a little late. Just a little.
Note: Peter does not exist. Well, he is not in this story. Maybe he is sick.

Chapter 1
”Lily, you really shouldn't be that heartless. James is already crushed lika a cockroach under a shoe” she laughed when she heard my odd comparison ”you don't need too keep acting like that.” I was serious, and I wasn't serious very often. But when it came to my best friends, in this case Lily Evans and James Potter, I did care; a lot.
I knew that Lily did like James; and James had liked her since our first year, so I couldn't understand why she had to be so rude to him. It wasn't like her at all. Although I could understand her, to a certain point. He had been rude too her – but only the first year. Then he started to act nice, althought he was asking her out all of the time. That was a little annoying.

”But he's so...so... I just... He's...”
”He is one of my best friends, he is good looking, he is charming, he is funny”
”I'm starting to think that you like him” she said with a smirk on her lips.
”Oh, shut up. The point is, you do like him, he does, apparently, like you too. Why are you still acting like he is Voldemort?”
”Well, he is not too nice to Severus...”
”Who called you mudblood last year”
”... and his pranks are immature as hell”
”Hey, some of them are my ideas!” I tried to sound offended but I don't think I did it too well.
”and” she said, with anger in her voice, ”he is an arrogant, immature and totally hopeless idiot, who think he is 'the ladys man' number one, and it's just so... so frustrating...” she sat down. At first I thought my eyes were fooling me, but then I actually saw her cry. I mean, you can say anything about Lily Evans, but she is not the type of girl that cries, and especially not for a boy. Confused, I sat down next to her, trying to comfort her. I had never been in that situation before, and it was harder than I thought it would be. I couldn't come up with anything to say.

”I'm sorry Mia, but it feels like a betrayl too Sev when I'm close to him.” She sounded heartbroken, but I dould not understand why she was. Snape was a foul and evil git.
”Well, that's just right. He betrayed you when he called you mudblood, remember? You never forgave him. Why would you still care for him?”
”He was the first who didn't thought I was a freak.” She wiped away her tears.
”And I was the second. Now, come and join me and the marauders in our compartment. Come on.” I took her arm and led her too the compartment.

When we got there, the boys were dueling, and we found James dancing, and Sirius laughing like he was being tickled by a spider. Remus read a book.
”What happened here?” Lily raised an eyebrow and I laughed when I saw James face. He looked so embarrassed! But, he was my friend. I couldn't let him stay like that when the girl he fancied was watching him.
”Finite Incantatem.” James immediately stopped dancing.
”Thanks” he muttered and gave Lily a shy look. She suprised me by sitting down next to James, who thought he was in heaven. Really, his face expression screamed of happiness. Sirius laughed even more when he saw this.
”Please... make... it... stop!” He asked me. I suppose he meant the spell.
”No, I think it's entertaining to see you laugh” I grinned and sat down, next to Remus. ”What are you reading?” No answer. God, he was such a bookworm. Well, he is a great guy too, and he always helps me with homework. Even though I don't really need it.
”Kary Myosa Althea Summers, you... have.. too help... me, now!” Sirius burst into laughter again. I gave James a look.

”Rictumsempra, is it?” He nodded. I stopped it, then slapped him in the face. He looked very offended, I have to say. But I guess he was kind of used to it. A lot of girls slapped him when he broke their hearts and so on.
”What was that for?”
”For revealing my whole name. I told you, it's embarassing, you jerk! And it's not Kary, it's Karin.” I pouted my lip. I really had told him my whole name thinking he would keep it a secret. I hated my name.
”What is it that is so embarassing about your name? I think it's cute.” Lily said.
”First: Karin is a swedish name that no one that speaks english can pronounce, Myosa is after a flower called forgetmenot, and then a name of a town in Greece. They are embarassing and stupid names! I can't understand why I have too have the strangest names on earth.” Lily rolled her eyes, and gave me a strange look, that was difficult for me to read.
”Actually it's cute that you're named after that flower. And a little funny” I boxed Sirius on the arm. ”I mean, you're exactly the kind of person one never forgets!” He said quickly and rubbed the place that I just punched.
”I hope that was a compliment” I rolled my eyes.
”Sounded like one in my ears” James said and moved a little closer to Lily.

”Don't push it, James” I warned him. Lily gave me a killing look. Then she leaned to his shoulder. I raised my eyebrows. That was the weirdest thing I've seen. Well, James looked happy and Lily did too, so I guess there was nothing to complain about. But it was a chock to se the girl who always threated to hex James, leaning to his shoulder. Wellwell.
”Anything from the trolley, dear?”
”Sirius, you owe me a pack of licorice wands” I told him.
”I do? Since when and why if I may ask?”
”Since now, and because I'm too lazy to move.” I smiled.
”Fine” he said with a smirk on his lips. He threw the package to me and then bought some chocolate frogs.
”Thanks, Siri” I said and opened it.
”I know you love me, Mia.” I laughed and he smiled. Well, I did love him. As a friend, nothing more. And I had loved him since the day we became friends.

-Flashback-
”Is this compartment taken?” The young, brownhaired witch asked.
”Well, yes it is, but you can sit here too, if you like.” The boy who answered had black hair and glasses, and sat next to a boy with long, darkbrown hair. I sat down.
”I'm Mia, Mia Summers.” I was, even as young, embarrassed about my name.
”I'm Sirius Black, and that's James Potter.” The boy with long hair said. He smiled and I smiled back.
”Nice to meet you.”
