♥ Chapter 54 There were a lot of people out and about even though it was a little bit chilly outside, Andromeda kept close to Ted to benefit from the warmth radiating from his body, as they walked down the street. People kept staring at them, and Andromeda felt a little ill at ease, “I don’t have something on my face, do I?” Ted glanced down at her with a smile, “No, you look gorgeous,” “Blasted goblins, they all know,” Andromeda contemplated her eyes flickering ever so slightly over the street, “Let them stare then,” Ted murmured calmly, giving her an encouraging look. They decided to part for a few minutes, as Ted wanted to look at Quidditch supplies and Andromeda didn’t. Andromeda continued into Madam Malkin’s to purchase a new hat, and a set of gloves, since the only ones she had left was her Slytherin ones, and it was beginning to get quite cold outside. Madam Malkin seemed surprised first to see her as she stepped into the store, “Good morning, Miss Black. Did you want to make further alterations to your dress-robes?” Andromeda was at first very confused with the woman’s question, before it dawned upon her, “I’m Andromeda Black.” “Oh sorry, dear, I thought you were Bellatrix.” Madam Malkin smiled courtly and she gave her a look of kind pity, “Call for me if you need any help picking out fabrics. I have customers at the back.” The woman disappeared off further back into the shop and Andromeda felt quite relieved to be left to herself without the surveying looks. She began looking at the various fabrics, and colours, settling after a few minutes on a black fabric for the hat and an emerald green yarn for the gloves. Andromeda then proceeded to look at a few robes, just for the fun of it. When she came eye to eye with one of the customers Madam Malkin’s were helping fit, she froze in place. “You dare show your face here? Blood traitor.” Andromeda had her mask firm in place and didn’t move a muscle when Roxanne spat on her, she calmly wiped the spit away, and produced her wand, “I kindly beg you to get out of my face, Roxanne.” Andromeda held the wand protectively in-front of her. “You lied to us! Who knows what germs we can have acquired whilst in your company!?” Roxanne growled, and Andromeda looked at her calmly feeling extensive pity for the woman who could see nothing beyond her own views, “Oh, dear, it’s not contagious, Craggy’s syphilis is though,” Roxanne looked completely thrown off, “How did you know about that?” Andromeda offered a smile, “It seems the only traitor to you is Abigail.” Roxanne tried to get anything insulting out, but her tongue had tied itself, with a little help of Andromeda’s wand of course. Andromeda then proceeded to look up only to notice Hailey was the one being fitted for her wedding robes. Hailey didn’t look directly at her, and it hurt more that Roxanne spitting on her, “Have you nothing to say to me, Hay? Are you just going to pretend you think it’s vile and disgusting? Are you just going to go along with everything they tell you?” Andromeda asked challenging her friend, but Hailey still refused to look at her, her face bore a torn expression, “Get out of my face, Andromeda,” Hailey’s voice was brittle, and her mouth barely moved as she tried to pour her disappointment and anger over Andromeda, but Hailey’s eyes betrayed her. Andromeda felt a stab of disappointment and hurt, “At least you remember my name. After all we’ve been through, wow, you people are really shallow.” Andromeda almost laughed at them, “Andy,” Hailey began feeling very conflicted, but she got no further because her mother entered, “Andromeda Black?” Andromeda raised her chin proudly, “Yes, Ma’am,” Hailey’s mother seemed taken aback, with disgust and surprise, “Get away from my daughter! You! - Filthy blood-traitor! Druella told me you might try and lure Hailey away with your disgusting tricks.” Andromeda smiled, despite feeling the lump grow in her throat, at the woman who had once loved her as one of her own kin, “Well, my mother has been insane for a few years. But I won’t bother you any longer, I wanted only to tell Madam Malkins what I wanted made,” A hand touched her shoulder, it was Ted, who had come looking for her, the three women (excepting Madam Malkins) looked repulsed, “Oh, this is my boyfriend, Ted Tonks. I think you’ve heard of him,” Andromeda smiled maliciously, and Ted caught on quickly and smiled back at them despite their ill-will towards him, “Lovely to meet you.” The party seemed highly insulted at being spoken to by someone of his sort and Hailey seemed to have found her voice again when she suddenly spoke, “You’re not invited to the wedding anymore, you know.” Andromeda smiled a bit patronising, “You hadn’t needed to tell me, I was fully aware, and besides, no one can endure being with a bunch of Dementors longer than this. Good day to you, have a lovely life, I wish you the best, truly” She then took hold of Ted’s arm and walked through the shop till the cashier where Madam Malkins had gone, since she had felt a little out of place. Andromeda quickly made her order, and it was decided she would pick up the items in two days’ time, and as soon as she had finished, they left the shop. “That was very brave of you, Dromeda.” Ted began, but Andromeda just kept on walking, remaining as stone cold as she had been to her former friends. Mostly to keep the tears from escaping, “I want to go home.” She muttered, and Ted seemed worried, “Are you sure? You don’t want to grab some ice-cream? Chocolate?” Andromeda shook her head, “I only want to go home.” “Then we will,” Ted stopped her for a second, “Hey, look at me, it is going to be fine,” Andromeda nodded, and let out a shaky breath, Ted stroke her cold chin softly, before leaning down, catching her red lips in a soft, sweet kiss. It was interrupted only by a loud gasp, Andromeda opened her dark eyes and looked towards the direction the sound had come from, only to see her aunt Walburga at the other side of the road. Bellatrix was with her, they had obviously been shopping for the wedding. Bellatrix gave her a sad smile, whilst holding their aunt to keep her from attacking Andromeda there on the spot. “You- filthy blood traitor, you are a disgusting whore!” She howled, and other people stopped to watch, Andromeda rolled her eyes, “Good afternoon to you too, Aunt-“ “You are no niece of mine!” Walburga cried insulted, and Andromeda raised her eyebrows, “Then why make a scene? Everyone knows us.” Aunt Walburga became an awful shade of red and purple and Bellatrix tried to get her to walk away but alas with no luck, “You are a disgrace to the noble and ancient house of Black, Andromeda! With that filthy mudblood of yours! We burnt your face off the tapestry, you are no longer our family!” Andromeda drew her wand, looking every bit as scary as a Black could, nearing her aunt, she stopped a few feet away, “I don’t care if you think I’m filthy or if you indeed burnt me off the family tapestry. I don’t care if you make it clear to all of England that I am no longer your family. But if you call Ted a mudblood again, I will not hesitate in making you suffer!” Andromeda hissed dangerously, pointing her wand directly at her Aunt. Walburga looked every bit afraid but seemed intent on making an even bigger scene, when Bellatrix grabbed her arm tightly, “Let’s head home, Aunt Walburga, don’t give unworthy people your attention.” Andromeda knew Bellatrix was acting, but her words still hurt more than the other words she had heard that day already. Because it was just an affirmation that they would never be able to be together again as sisters in this life time. Ted moved her by the waist from the spot and the people who had stopped to listen went about their way again. “Let’s get back now, Dromeda.” He said calmly, and Andromeda was ready to apparate there on the spot, but Ted shook his head fiercely, “Not when you’re this upset, you might end up splinching!” Andromeda seemed incredibly irate, and Ted had her walk again, “We’ll take the train,” Andromeda sighed, and Ted took her hand in his, kissing the top of her head tenderly, “It’s going to be all fine. I promise!”
It seems the only traitor to you is Abigail.”

Hoppas ni alla är taggade på lite mer Chapter 55 Andromeda had said not a word during the whole train ride back home, Ted had given her one or two worried looks but she had just brushed them off and continued to stare out of the window at the cold and bare landscape. Her inner was a turmoil, and she didn’t want to burden Ted with everything she was feeling at that moment. She had known that her friends would shun her, and that her sister had to, but it hurt nonetheless, and the scene kept repeating itself before her inner-eye. Tears were still burning behind her heavy eyelids, but she refused to spill them, refused to let Ted carry more of her emotional luggage. Andromeda was awoken from thought when Ted placed a gentle hand on her elbow, she looked into his worried hazel eyes, and he offered her a smile, “This is our stop,” “Oh,” She answered a little unfocused, but stood up, but the sudden stop of the train had her out of balance and she would have fallen if Ted hadn’t caught her. Ted kept his hands firm on her arms, and he beamed, “I’ve got you.” “So it seems,” Andromeda let the corners of her mouth turn up slightly, and Ted lead her off the train. People were staring at them as they walked on the fully occupied station, and Andromeda kept her façade even firmer in place, and her hand grasped tighter on Ted’s arm, “Why on earth are these muggles staring?” It wasn’t meant to be as harsh as it came out, but Ted took it calmly, after all he knew her all too well, “Well, they are not used to people walking around in robes when its not Halloween.” “I’m not dressing like that.” Andromeda replied sourly as she eyed a woman in jeans and a jacket, and Ted let out a snicker, “I would like to see anyone try to get you to wear muggle clothing.” Andromeda eyed him sharply, “What is that supposed to mean?” Ted pecked her on the lips, “You are adorable.” “You didn’t answer my question, Ted.” Andromeda stopped their walk and gave Ted a look that very much showed her displeasure with him. “Someone is a bit cranky.” Ted bit his lip amused, but Andromeda was not in the least amused by his teasing, she gave him a murderous look, “Edward Tonks, if you do not stop pestering me, I will hex you into oblivion!” “Geez Andromeda, that temper of yours really do get in the way of fun sometimes don’t it.” Ted wasn’t scared of her at all, not like everyone else had been, he just flashed her a white smile, but it didn’t stop her from pinching him hard there on the road. Ted let out a shriek that attracted some attention and he rubbed his arm whilst eying her with discontent, “Sorry Dromeda, really no reason to get so wind up.” “Stop teasing me, It’s not funny! I’m not in the mood!” Andromeda hissed, and Ted looked at her hurt, “Alright, I’m truly sorry, Andromeda. I wanted only to make you smile,” Andromeda sighed, and turned her eyes back at his sad form, she bit her lip, embraced him and kissed him hard on the mouth, Ted was clearly taken by surprise judging by the look on his face, and she offered him a small smile, “I know, I’m sorry, I’m not feeling very cheery is all,” Someone behind them let out a displeased growl and commented on the immodesty of such displays and such fashion, Andromeda and Ted snickered under their breaths before Ted took hold of her hand, “Come on, Dromeda, let’s get you home,” “I don’t want to go home just yet. Distract me, show me about town.” Andromeda said kindly and Ted lit up, “It would be my pleasure,” Ted brought her from the station and down the road up a small pathway, behind the shops and houses and then there was an old large building, Andromeda was impressed. Impressed that muggles could have built something as majestic as that. On the beige sandstone façade, the numbers 1762 were chiselled out, and the pillars that carried the front of the building were a work spectacular on its own as were the green ivy that climbed the side of the building. Andromeda’s eyes were wide in wonder, and Ted brought her closer to the building, through its front park. “Are you sure were allowed inside the gates?” Andromeda asked quizzically, Ted smiled at her, “I’m positive, It’s my old school.” “This is a school?” Andromeda gaped, and Ted laughed at her, “You went to Hogwarts, and you’re impressed that this is a school!?” “But it’s such a beautiful building, its impressive your lot managed to build something like that.” “My lot?” Ted asked amused, and Andromeda slapped his arm, “You know what I mean!” “I do, I’m glad you like it. I used to love going here. My teachers were amazing. All though I still see them sometimes, but its sort of hard talking to them, because I can’t, you know, tell them where I disappeared off to…” Ted said as he gazed at the school nostalgically. Andromeda eyed him with affection, and then looked at the building again, “It’s quite old. What’s it called?” “St George’s” Ted smirked, “You know after the Saint that according to myth slayed a dragon and saved all of England.” “Oh, that’s quite brave of him, he must have been a Gryffindor,” Andromeda contemplated and then she frowned in thought, “I realise how little I know of muggle culture.” “St George is a Christian saint. It’s an Anglican school. We were educated by nuns to some extent.” Ted told her with a smile, and Andromeda’s love of learning woke, “I’ve heard of that. The Christians I mean. Are you a member of them?” “I am. It’s weird. Somehow learning about magic my beliefs grew stronger. I mean St George might have actually slayed a dragon. Because they really do exist.” Ted shrugged his shoulders, “I’d love to learn more about that. I want to know everything about your world.” Andromeda smiled, and Ted took hold of her hand again, giving her a smirk, “Mum will be delighted to teach you everything about our Christmas, she is somewhat Christmas obsessed, but she does make the best figgy pudding about town.” “I’ll be delighted to know it Ted, your mum is lovely.” Andromeda stroke his hand with her thumb and then stood on her tip-toes to kiss him, his lips were cold, and chapped but she didn’t mind, but all too soon he pulled away, she pouted and he laughed, “Come on, let’s go to Sainsbury and pick up some sweets and then I’ll show you a film when we get back home,” “What’s a film?” Andromeda asked, and Ted wiggled his eyebrows, “You’ll see.” Andromeda almost stomped her foot as she groaned, “Ted,” She whined, “You know I hate surprises!” “I can’t explain the concept of film Dromeda! I’m a simple Hufflepuff, you can’t expect more of me!” “Why did I fall in love with a Hufflepuff!?” Andromeda cried and gave him a teasing grin, and Ted rolled his eyes, “Let’s walk on, Dromeda.” Ted brought his hand round Andromeda’s waist, pulling her to him swiftly, pressing her form against his side, kissing her temple before leading her forwards again. Andromeda sighed content, and leaned her cheek against his arm, as they proceeded to walk the gravel path back through the park.
“Why on earth are these muggles staring?” It wasn’t meant to be as harsh as it came out, but Ted took it calmly, after all he knew her all too well, “Well, they are not used to people walking around in robes when its not Halloween.” Även mötet religion/kultur/magi tas upp: It’s weird. Somehow learning about magic my beliefs grew stronger. I mean St George might have actually slayed a dragon. Because they really do exist.”
