Prologue
It was the 19th of September 1979. Her eyes, brown as her mother’s, were shining like the sun shone through the frayed vanilla white window. She was lying peaceful in her father’s arms and her mother sat next to them. That day was a beautiful day, and it was the day of Hermione Jean Granger’s birth. Mr. and Mrs. Granger looked at each other with happiness and love, though what they didn’t know then, was that Hermione Jean Granger was a witch and they soon would find out.
