Who in their right minds

Jag vet inte varför jag lägger ut det här, men det känns rätt. En väldigt, väldigt kort one-shot om Lily's och James' kärlek, skriven direkt från hjärtat. Enjoy!

“You say you love me, you say you’d die for me-”

“I do and I would, Lily.”

“Those are just empty words, Potter.”

“What will it take for you to believe me? I’m tired of this, I’ve tried everything, I-”

“Prove it.”

“What?” he said, uncertainty in his voice.

“Prove it. Jump. Die for me”, Lily whispered, gesturing towards the edge. They were standing on top of the Astronomy Tower.

James said nothing; he simply stared out into the night, almost as if he considered it.

“Tell me, Potter; who, in their right minds, would die for someone they barely know? Who in their right minds would say they love someone they haven’t even had a proper conversation with?”

“I don’t know”, he said so quietly, she almost missed it. “But maybe I’m not in my right mind then.”

And then he took a step forward and jumped.
